“Eight Electric Poem ”: narrations told by electric guitar, which, set to speak, articulates words as it invents them. The axis of each work is direct, layered recordings generated on the spot with the use of a looper pedal. Almost all, in this way, remain “mono”, since that is the nature of the looper that has been used. Some, however, have tracks added later, resulting in a stereo mix. But, in general, the raw essence of each poem and its monophony and, at times, essential low-fi have been respected. The effects used are those of the pedalboard, there are no virtual pedals, and in the mixing, editing and mastering only reverb and global ambience have been used. We wanted to preserve as much as possible the original words of the guitar. In some poems, Ana Camusso's visual works inspired these compositions. In others, both languages met and merged. In any case, this electric guitar once again assumes a work of these characteristics, and can be considered within the cycle initiated by “Monotemas” (www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL84IEBLxg_81desaxPanunSbW9Eo9mIkz). Good hearing.
